Use of this platform does not ensure that any product created is safe, compliant, or approved for sale. Responsibility for formulation, testing, documentation, labelling, and compliance remains solely with the user.

Users are responsible for obtaining all required documentation, including but not limited to Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs), Product Information Files (PIFs), CLP classifications, and any other applicable regulatory requirements before placing products on the market.

Our responsibility for the service, and the limits on it, are set out in section 10 of our Terms of Use. Nothing on this page limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to those terms, we are not responsible for loss, damage, injury or claims arising from the use or misuse of this platform, or from products you make, label or sell.

For candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and room sprays, the Studio can suggest label wording — a warning word, hazard and precautionary wording written out in plain words, harm to aquatic life, disposal, the “Contains” line, which warning symbols appear to apply, and the candle safety symbols expected under BS EN 15494.

These suggestions are worked out only from what you record: the substances, percentages, hazard statements and any multiplying factor taken from your supplier’s safety data sheet, the IFRA figures on the certificate, and the amount of fragrance you enter. Where the sheet lists something you have not recorded, it will not appear. Auto-fill from a supplier document is a reading aid and can misread a document.

This is a working suggestion, not a classification, a safety assessment or a compliance decision. It is not a CLP classification service and no notification is made on your behalf. Always check the wording, symbols and figures against the current safety data sheet and the rules that apply to your market before printing a label or placing a product on the market. Soap and other cosmetics are not labelled this way — they use the cosmetic allergen declaration instead.

All generated data and documentation should be reviewed and verified by the user before use. The Studio supports formulation and compliance workflows but does not replace a qualified safety assessor.

Some features use third-party AI models and only run when you ask them to. AI output is a draft and can be incomplete or wrong, so every value and every piece of wording must be checked before you save, print, publish or rely on it.
